Cruise the Mediterranean, soak up the sunshine and intoxicate yourself with the aroma of delicious chocolate. A co-marketing agreement between MSC Cruises and Nestlé Perugina commemorates 100 years of Italian chocolate with a special Chocolate Cruise on board MSC Orchestra, the latest addition to the MSC Cruises fleet.
This Chocolate Cruise (8 days/7 nights) departs from Genoa on 30 March 2008, from Naples on 31 March and from Palermo on 1 April, calling into some of the most beautiful ports in the Western Mediterranean: Tunis with its ancient ruins at Cartaghe; Palma de Majorca - the pearl of the Balearic Islands; Barcelona with the Ramblas district full of colour and life; and Marseille - the Provencal seaport. The ship will return to Genoa on 6 April 2008.
On board this special cruise, guests will be able to taste plenty of delicious chocolate. The Chocolate Cruise will be headed up by the maestro of the School of Perugina Chocolate (the first Italian school entirely dedicated to chocolate), who will demonstrate the best use of chocolate and its exceptional properties.
Themed events will include "Dinner for Lovers" in a typical themed setting with the famous "Baci" (kisses) chocolates. You can even indulge in a chocolate massage or taste various kinds of chocolate combined with different flavours from coffee to orange to spices and enjoy wines that accompany chocolate.
There will be samples for all guests to take home, all with the distinct Perugina trademark - no one will go to bed without the traditional "Baci" goodnight.
MSC Cruises and Perugina invite you to the sweetest cruise in the Mediterranean to discover the history, the culture of the ports, as well as the many beneficial properties of chocolate!
