Hey there everyone!!! So happy my family and I are going to the Bahama's for 2 weeks!! My husband and I have been, but my 2 kids have never, so it will be just an awesome summer vacation for them. I have had a couple friends tell me that I might want to invest into some mosquito netting. They said that at night the bug situation can get a little crazy. When My husband and I went the first time we didn't really notice too much of a problem, but then again we stayed on the boat, and this time we will be staying in land for a couple days. If I did need to invest in some netting what do you think would be the best kind for that environment? Thanks for the help everyone!

Hello and welcome to Cruise @ddicts. :spyglass:
I can't answer positively about Nassau but having lived in Florida where the mosquito is also known as the State Bird, I do have some experience. I also am very sensitive to mosquito bites. They'll raise huge welts on me.

In Florida there wasn't really a problem indoors either in the daytime or at night. The main time for mosquitos was in the evening or at night outdoors.

So, unless you're camping out, I wouldn't think mosquito netting would be necessary. Just make sure you have a good repellant, something containing the ingrediant DEET.

Enjoy your trip :sunny:
