Hello all! Long time no see! Busy as usual...isn't that typical?!
Had to log on this evening and ask Loyal RCCL customers to write to RCCL over their current policy change! If you have not heard, RCCL is changing the requirements for their Crown and Anchor perks. As a Diamond member for the past 7 cruises...I am about to loose perks due to this change and it's really torked me the wrong way. As of July 2009, Diamond member no longer get use of the concierge clubs...they are now reserved for suites only. Next, current Diamond members loose the use of the Diamond club on all ships other than Freedom and Oasis class ships. I find this is a bad move on RCCL's part. It makes loyal customers now consider other cruise lines and that doesn't sound like a smart move on RCCL's part. To add to my ire, we just got off Liberty last week and the tiered seats on the pool deck were reserved for executive suit use only...all of them. And about 80% of the time they were empty!!! Now I can understand profits and business and giving added perks to people paying $6000 plus dollars for getting a suite...that's good business sense...but RCCL is going overboard with their treatment of possible one time big spenders at the risk of their loyal past passengers. I think this is wrong. I'd like to know if I'm off base here or if you agree! If you do agree?
I suggest any Crown and Anchor member that has been loyal to RCCL voice their displeasure by writing to RCCL. Thanks for letting me vent! Hope all the regulars on the site are doing great!
When I get some time and I'm not venting, I'll drop by and leave a groaner and chat a bit!
Take care all!
