Hello there, my cruising friends!

It's been a while so I thought I'd just pop in to say HI! Obeying the rules and posting on THIS forum, of course! (Don't want to get John mad... :lol)

Quick update on what's up -

The husband started school full-time this semester so I'm now the bread-winner. He's going to school to get his degree in mathematics then he's going to continue on to get his teaching credentials. It will be a tough few years but the ends justify the means.

Unfortunately, that also means no CRUISING in my near future!! :( We vacationed with the whole family (my family and the in-law's) to Kauai about two months ago. That's the last of it until hubby graduates! But... (drum roll please!) he's promised me an Alaskan cruise when he's done! So, it's four years away. ALASKA, HERE I COME! :grin

I hope you all are doing wonderfully. Keep Crusin'!

Wow, so you are still alive, lol. Good to hear from you. You missed a whole new Jealousea cruise earlier this year. We all thought of you when we used the logo you designed. Keep posting! cc

Are you still working with the sign language too?

Nice to see you here again. My best wishes to your husband as he goes back to school. My wife went back to college to get her degree P/T and it took 7 years. He's best off doing it full time and getting it over with. I'm sure you'll have plenty of reasons to celebrate when you set sail for Alaska :)

AH, it's SOO good to hear from my old friends! I've missed you all terribly.

It's tough for me to check out the boards at work because: 1) We've been crazy-busy for the last year or so AND 2) this board is a little... ah... "colorful" and it just screams "I'M NOT WORKING!!" :grin

As for the migraines, they've actually been fairly under control. It's been a combination of stress-reduction, diet changes and exercise that I think did the trick. (Mostly stress reduction, I think.) I still have periodic insomnia, which seems to increase the frequency of my migraines. But during those times, I have enough stuff in place to suffer through the phase and come out okay on the other side.

Now what about YOU GUYS?? I've been gone for too long. What have I missed???

Glad to hear things are going well for you! Good luck with all of those changes going on. Think of all the vacations you will be able to on when hubby graduates!

Hey Defritz! :wave Good to see you!

Believe me, it's good to get your DH's degree & teacher education done before you think about kids. Sounds like you guys are making some good choices. :thumb Hope you're enjoying living "down South" and I bet you're very glad you sold when you did! Prices have really fallen & the number of foreclosures are incredible! =eek

Take care of yourself & check in from time to time! :wave :wave :wave
