Has anyone been on a helmet dive. I am curious to know just how long you actually spend underwater. Is it a trip worth doing? 13 days to go and counting! HOW excited am I ?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I did the helmut dive in Dec. It was fantastic! You are in the water about 25-30 minutes. A short orientation before and a medical form to fill out. Yes it is definitely worth doing! You will love it!

We were down for about 30 minutes. The trip was about 3 hours, or so. You have the trip to the site, then a couple of hours on site, using the BOB and then snorkeling, on your own. Bring an underwater camera, Kodak makes one for about $10 - $11 U.S. A lot of fun.
