Help me choose a cabin on Victory please

I've never been on a Carnival ship, only Princess, and know very little about the layout. From what I've read, I'm sure we'll have a great time, but would appreciate any tips about cabins on this ship. Natually, I'm anxious as can be about booking (not sailing until June 2004) and want to make a good decision. Thanks in advance!

I have been on Princess ships and on the Victory. The rooms we had on the Victory were larger than the rooms we had on Princess. Keep in mind the closer to the bow of the ship you get on Victory the smaller the room will be. We had an outside room midship on the Victory and an outside directly in the bow of the Victory. The bow room was less than half the size of the midship room. We did see balcony rooms on the Victory and a good portion of the room was taken up by the balcony space.

I hope this helps some.

Cabins on the Victory inside and outside are 185 sq feet. I had a cabin on the Destiny at the bow was still 185 sq feet.

Not trying to start an argument but on the Victory the bow room 9202 was nowhere near 185 square feet. It was much smaller than our outside room on the Victory on our first week of cruising on the Victory. The room in the bow was also a very odd shape and had far less storage room. It was a nice room and adequate but was nowhere near 185 sq feet.

We had a midship balcony cabin on the Victory in 2002 and LOVED it! :) :) :) :) :)

I love how these cabins are bigger than my dorm room was last year! On the Pride we had a midship balcony, and it was great. Three of us fit comfortably for the week!
