Booked on the Radiance for Nov 5th. We just found out today there is no way my husband will be able to make this cruise. We bought insurance, but don't really want to cancel this. Does anyone know if you can change one of the occupants? I just got my edocs yesterday. I don't know if it's possible, but my sister is willing to step up in his place. Has anyone had this problem this close to sailing?

You have time to change. Give them a call. You may have to pay a small fee for doing this; I think it is $50.

Glad you found someone to go with you! Have a wonderful time with your sister!

Thanks, I've been so worried. I will call first thing in the am. Wish me luck! I'll let you know how I make out.

You can change one passenger but not both. Royal Caribbean might charge you a name change fee of about $30.

Thanks guys, I called RCCL and they told me it was okay to do that. I had to go through my TA who was super nice about it and said she would do it. No one said anything about a fee, but considering the circumstances I am facing, that would be a small price to pay. I purchased insurance if we had to cancel, but I didn't want to have it come to that. I'm just glad we could work this out and I will still be able to go. I will just have to book another cruise in the near future.

Gwenn, I am so glad you got it straightened out today.

While on-board, you should book another cruise so that you get the onboard credit! Then you will have something else to look forward to when you get home.

Have a wonderful cruise with your sister.

Just thought I'd mention it. All the changes have been made by my fabulous travel agent....Skyscraper Tours.....and I have not been charged anything nor was it mentioned. I must say, it has comforting, though I would have gladly paid for it. Thanks, everyone...
