Hi Everybody,
We're booked on the Diamond in October and was wondering if most people pay to ride the bus that Princess offers for $50.00 round trip? Has anyone ever tried a taxi, shuttle service or any other way to get to the pier and if so how much did it cost you? Has anyone ever not booked/found transportation to the pier until the day of their arrival?

I would love to hear how others have gotten from the airport to the ship and how much it cost them.

Thank you and Happy sailing,
Alley

In February we paid just under $15 PP from LAX to the Princess port at San Pedro on Super Shuttle for our Regal Princess cruise. It is close to Long Beach so the fare should not be too much more to get there.

Have a great cruise,

Hi,

We just returned from Long Beach on the Carnival Pride...... Super Shuttle and there is another shuttle was $30.00 for two persons from LAX to the Pier. A taxi will run you $49.00 each way. You don't need reservations, just get your bags, and look for the scheduler standing in the middle island. Have a great time.
