Help with dinner question!!!!

I haven't sailed with Carnival in several years and I was wondering if they still do not charge for soft drinks at dinner. I know that they used to do this(they didn't advertise the fact), but if you requested a soft drink with your dinner, you were not charged. Is this still true??????????

sodas cost extra. ice tea and lemonade is free

Soft drinks are extra, but you can buy "Fountain Fun Cards"--an unlimited number of soft drinks during the cruise for a one-time charge.
