Hi I'm new here and to cruising. Quick question?

I have never been on a cruise before. The Royal Caribbean looked appealing because it has lots of teen activities. Only problem is, they list the activities to be for ages 15-17. I am 18. Are there a lot of teens who are around my age, 17-19? Do they seem to enjoy Royal Caribbean cruises?
I can get along with younger teens but I am a "ringleader" as you might call it ;)

Thanks. I hope to be spending lots of time on this forum leading up to my ultimate choice for a cruise.

Sorry, but you are an adult. Check out the activities for adults and see if those activities interest you.

Hi again. I'm sort of intimidated to go into adult stuff because I just turned 18 and I'm in high school still. I have a lot more in common with other teens. I don't know, I also didn't see much I wanted to do in the adult activities.

yeah, it is an in-between age group.I had the same problem on my last cruise, 19 didnt want to play with the kids and didnt want to sit around with the "older" people. But once u get on board u will find plenty of things to do and people to meet.hard not to have a good time.

You didn't mention when your cruise is but if it is at a time that school is not in session there should be lots of people your age. All the RCCL ships have a rock climbing wall and of course swimming pools and hot tubs. There's also ping pong and shuffleboard. The bigger ships have pool tables, miniature golf, basketball and flow rider on the freedom class ships. Lots of the ships also offer a scuba class. I'm sure you'll hook up with some companions your age because they'll be looking for some friends to interact with too.

So =funsign on your first cruise :thumb

You my find yourself more comfortable on a Carnival Cruise--they cater to the younger crowd.
