I like to statr off by saying that I live in Honolulu Hawaii and I did use to work onboard m/s patriot under a entry level job position as a Housekeeper in the crew section as a cleaner cleaning crew baths and so forth then later I cleaned a cocktail lounge in the eagles watch lounge However I applied for work with NCL america office set up here in Honolulu downtown I was called in for interview it did go Nicely but something is not right i had been waiting so I got a card from them stating that they did not have a job that fits my interest or qualifications that isnt true i worked hard cleaning the places onboard ship and I had no problems I told them that if they did not have that one I was willing to take anything and train for that position such as deck attendent, room steward,bell captain,housekeeping office,staffing things like that they put me in a file for two years there is hardly any jobs on shore and I have waited and waited I am being extremely patient with them now I hear that many who live in hawaii have quit jobs on ncl ships in carribbean and norwegian star here in honolulu 140 have quit and 140 have been fired what are my chances now of getting something I have alot of willingness to work onboard and would like to have this opportunity to work i am not that old and age is nothing neither is looks those are not important issues in life or work on the jobs today i am willing to do anything they offer me thanks very much
