MSC Cruises Has Just Posted the Following:
Chuck Cook, director of the well known Chuck Cook Golf Academy in Texas is considered to be one of the top 10 instructors of the golf world. He has coached PGA Tour professionals Corey Pavin, Bob Estes and Omar Uresti as well as US Open champions Payne Stewart and Tom Kite. During May and October 2007, two exclusive eight-day golf clinics with Chuck Cook will take place on board MSC Sinfonia, providing a unique occasion for all players from beginners to the experienced. All those participating will benefit from the experience of meeting the American coach and learning his golfing techniques. Chuck is described as being the most inquisitive of teachers. He has talked to most of the top players and probably all of the top teachers in the game. This has given him a true understanding of cause and effect in the golf swing.
These two special golf cruises, which take place 7 to 14 May and 22 to 29 October 2007, will depart from Genoa calling into Monte Carlo, Valencia, Malta, Tunis and Civitavecchia. A full programme for this popular sport is offered inclusive of lessons, seminars, day and night competitions and individual tuition.
Passionate golfers can choose from three packages:
Apart from the lessons, Chuck Cook will also hold seminars during which he will explain the theory of golf and recount anecdotal legacies of his experience teaching the best professionals in the field. At the end, he will participate in a spectacular and choreographed show on deck.
MSC Sinfonia is fitted with the specific requirements for this programme. The decks have a number of golf cages, putting greens and virtual simulators for training and practice. Golf will also be played on land; players will have the opportunity to tee off on some of the beautifully manicured golf courses in various ports. They can test their newly-acquired skills against others and a final competition will be held in Rome with many fabulous prizes to be won.
Buon viaggio and enjoy the game!
