Hey everyone. This is my first time "foruming". My fiance and I are getting married on July 28, 2008 - so for a honeymoon we are looking into a cruise. My parents have done it and loved it, so now I'm trying to look at my options.
Because its our honeymoon - we want it to be perfect. We've limited it down to two cruises, both leaving on July 28th from NY (gives a day to unwind after the wedding, and we are from Western New York, so departure is closer). One of the cruises is on the Carnival Miracle, the second is the Caribbean Princess.
I was hoping people might have be able to help us with some info. I've gotten the impression that Princess is a little nicer, and that Carnival has gotten a lot better - but are still a party ship (my fiance and I are more about relaxing, not partying).
Also - I wanted to know if it is something we should book now - or wait to snag a deal. I know its easier to snipe a great deal when you aren't set on a departure date. Is it worth the risk of waiting until a few months before? Any advice would be helpful! Thanks everyone!
