We are from Ormond Beach, FL and three others are going with us .No, we are not signed up for the party. Not familiar w/ that, let me know more about it.
We are now in the n. GA mts. until 4/15/ so we don't know if the docs have arrived at home.

On the www.cruisecritic.com board you can sign up to attend a party on Celebrity Cruises. It is usually not much, with just pasteries and coffee. Some times there is a Celebrity hostess there and sometimes not. But is a way to meet fellow cruisers. and something else to do on the ship.
You can register through the CC board, or go direct to https://secure.celebrity.com/cruisecritic/entry.asp and sign up. There must be 25 registered for the party to take place and last time I checked there were not enough, but if all of you sign up would be closer .

Okay, we are registered. There are now 18 people. We will see friends today that are also going and tell them to register. We are in cabin 9023. Docs are in hand. We are driving to Norfolk from Ormond Beach, a 700 mile trip.

We will go from Orange Park, FL to Butner., NC and visit with Jan's folks a day and on into Norfolk on Saturday morning. We will be in 5093, give us a call.
You might check the Cruise Critic BB under 'cruise discussion', then 'ask a cruise question, then my post titled 'parking in Norfolk' . Some good info I think.
Also, Joyce and Bruce, what is your cabin, you mention 9073 on one post and 9023 in the latest?

Still have only 23 signed up for the on board party, Am in contact with another couple from BAL and if we don't get enough by next week early, I will suggest a time and place to them and us to meet, have our own part so to speak!
I guess the second day out while at sea would work. maybe the Renezview bar at 1 PM would work?
If you know of any others going, please make sure they have signed up. I asked my TA if she had any others going that had reserved by her, but negative.

I found a couple on another newsgroup and they said they would sign up for the small party. I hope we can get a few more folks.

We are ready!! Off to Norfolk in the a.m. from FL. 'She' is a smiple older ship and we love that for this particular cruise. Looking forward to new friends, adventure and a wonderful week.
