Hotel near Miami Cruise Terminal

Hello,
My husband and I are planning on a Carnvial Cruise for the last week of October 2008, embarking from Miami, Florida. Does anyone know of a good and preferrably cheap hotel/motel, with shuttle service, near the Port/Cruise Terminal?

La Quinta Inn Miami Airport East has Airport Shuttle, Cruise Port Shuttle and a nice free breakfast. Here's a link to the website.

We always stayed at the Holiday Inn near the pier. Across from BaySide Market Place. We stayed with a group and they provided shuttles to the pier because our group was so large. I don't know it the hotel it's self provided service or not. This hotel is close enough that you can see the ships in port and there is a lot to do by just walking across the street to BaySide. Lots of great restaurants, a mall. There is a live band out by the water at night.
