These faces. Sorry there's so many photos, I just couldn't decide which was cuter. Especially the last two. Friendship- One cat down, one to go.

Awwwwwww Simon looks so content. I really think he was removed from other cats, probably his mother and he feels safe now. He is just adorable sleeping like that feeling safe and secure.

How precious! Judy is right, I think Simon is used to being with other cats and has found his new best buddy. I love how cats contort themselves when they sleep......my Carmello makes me laugh out loud at times the way he sleeps..........

OH MY GOSH. Little Simon seems to have taken to Maxie quicker than he took to you, Connie. I'd go along with the suggestion that he may have been around other kitties in his short life before you.

Those photos are adorable.

Conniecat, I'm very happy that you were able to take the kitten in and most likely saved the little fellows life.
It appears he has found his home and is very comfy and happy.
You are a good hearted person. :wave

He and Scooter have been face to face a few times. Simon is totally not afraid of him. Scooter is a big old 'fraidy cat. He still looks at Simon like, you idiot can't you see I am biggger than you? Then he hisses and runs off. Simon will win him over, he is fearless! If something in the house scares him, like a noise, he will run off, but come right back to investigate. Yes, I think he has been indoors before, especially seeing how quickly he took to litter boxes. I put the little one away, he is using the big guy's. And he comes to me for attention regularly. Altho, when I opened the door this afternoon,he stood at the glass and cried. I don't know if he recognized the porch, or if he just wanted out. Not gonna happen!

Edited to add: They are still curled up in that chair together. I am amazed at Maxie. He is a loving cat, but does not like to cuddle too often with Scooter. Scooter was mine for 2 months before Maxie would let him near. They still don't sleep together very often. Simone wanted it tho, and apparently you don't tell him no. "I'm cute, how could you not love me???"

Oh connie, I love those last two pictures! He is so cute...

What a nice cat Maxie is, to take to Simon so quickly. He is making him feel right at home.

I know what you mean about letting him outside. My dd cat is constantly wanting to go outside. We let him out occasionally on the deck but so afraid he will take off for the road. So it's a battle every day. Sorry, kitty...
