I booked 4 cruises as guarantee== 3 of those cruises I was a past guest- I did not get upgraded not even one deck.Being a past guest or not doesnt pay into the mix.I found the higher you paid the better your chances.Someone booking a cruise that is a few weeks away will get upgraded before someone who booked a year ago
