How do you book your cruise?

Do you use travel agent, book yourself via cruise line, book while on a cruise?
We have done all of the above but most of our recent cruises have been booked while on a cruise.

Never book a cruise on board but since we have been cruising pretty exclusively with Princess we always pick up a future cruise credit on board.
Also since we have been exclusively with Princess and our travel agent passed away, we have just been doing our own homework a have connected with real good cruise planner at Princess and just book through him.

We booked cruises with Lori for over 15 years. Since her passing, we have booked online directly with the cruise-line (Princess and Celebrity). Last year we found a really good TA at Expedia Cruiseship Centers and have booked 5 cruises with her. We really have missed Lori.

I think I have booked more than half of my cruises on board and transferred about half of them to a TA.
The reminder I have booked directly with the cruise line or via a TA (50/50).

It was a bit "messy" with the TA last cruise, problems with payment etc. They also refused to take over a booking I made onboard as it was "too far in the future". Never heard of that before, but I think it had to do with the flights, as they were not possible to book that far ahead. That has never been a problem before as I have booked the flights separately, but now they only have packages with flight and cruise.

I will have to look for a new TA.
