When and how do you get the soda sticker ???? Can you request it in line at emabarkation while doing your sign and sail, or when you get on the ship?? How does it work ???

I assume you are talking about a soda card on Carnival seeing this is the Carnival section of the board. All you do is go to any bar and tell them you want a soda card and they will give you one and charge it to your sign and sail card. The price of the card does include tips so no need to worry about that. From than on just show the card to the bar wait staff or bartender and you will get a glass of soda of your choice. You will only get one glass per order but you can order a glass as often as you want.
I am not sure how long your cruise is but the price for a 7 night cruise is $34.99 or at least it was in the first part of Sept.

What is the Fountain Fun Card?
Guests may purchase a Fountain Fun Card which will allow them unlimited soft drinks for the duration of the cruise, at a one time purchase price (including gratuities). With the exception of room service, the Fountain Fun Card may be used wherever beverage service is available.
The card can be purchased at any bar on board the ship.
In all locations where beverage service is offered, guests may receive a glass of the soft drink of their choice. One glass will be served at a time and only to the guest whose name appears on the card.
The cost of the card is based on whether it is for an adult or a child, and the length of the cruise.
Children under 12 can ask for free soft drinks in the dining room whether they have purchased a Fountain Fun Card or not.
