You might be able to check in earlier...though you might have to wait a bit longer to actually get on the ship. Most ships let you on as soon as they get everyone off from the previous cruise and the wedding parties on if there are any, etc. Generally speaking 12 noon is the latest "start" time. Lunch is available on the Lido deck starting at 12:30 which is where they would like you to go. They usually request you not go to your cabin until 1:30. (Sorry...we haven't been out of Galveston yet. However this has been what we have found to be true at 6 other ports...for our 12 Carnival cruises.)Make sure you have your funpass filled out online so that you can get in that line instead of the longer one!
