The earlier you book the more choice you have of cabins. If you book late, you have to accept a cabin no one else before you wanted.If you book early and the price goes up, you get to keep the old lower rate. If you book early and the price goes down, you can ask for the new lower rate.In my opinion, the advantages of booking early far outweigh any disadvantages.Currently I have a cruise booked for June 2009. It was booked in June 2007. My May 2004 cruise was booked in April 2002. Around April of this year I booked cruises for April and August of 2004.
