How is Maw?

Been worried about her, and wading through the posts.. is she still in a temporary facility? When my iPhone lost it's mind, it lost it's numbers as well, so can't call her. Thinking about her, and just want her to know I am caring about her.

She is still in skill facility and had an appointment with the Dr yesterday afternoon....I haven't seen any work on how that went yet...she is hoping they can do the surgery soon!

The report from surgeon yesterday afternoon was surgery next week, then week in hospital, then back to skill facility for another 8 weeks. I haven't spoke with her yet, that was the info I got from Paw last night, she was tuckered out after her outing and apparentlty had sacked out when I called. When I had spoke with her about 5:30 she was still at Dr office and was sounding really tired then.

Thanks for the update Brenda
Maw sounded a little antsy yesterday morning when I talked to her. Glad they are getting things moving at last, so she can get on to recovery.
A couple of days ago Maw said Paw was staying busy doing some spring house cleaning & is ready to get out side & start a few things & of course he goes to see her everyday.

Thanks for the update, Brenda...

Glad to hear Maw has a surgery date now....Hopefully, the recovery won't be as long as they mentioned, and she can get back home soon.

Had a nice conversation with her last night after her din din. She was a upbeat but knows she has a battle ahead of her. She was also worried a bit about paw and how he is coping. One thing about maw though is she promised she will be ready for the next cruise no matter what .. even if is requires scooter usage FULL time.

I am glad that the surgery has been scheduled...that's the first step and then hopefully the rehab will progress with ease and faster than the surgeons anticipate. Brenda, thanks for the update and hope you and family and Paw are coping also. GOOD thoughts being sent to you all!
