Hi,
I'm thinking of traveling to Hawaii on Pride of Aloha 12/06. My hubby gets seasick and he knows it has always been a dream of mine to go and thinks I should go for it!! I actually enjoy traveling alone - it is very relaxing and I make friends easily. How does NCL handle solo travelers? Do they have dining tables with others traveling alone?
Thanks for any info

NCL charges staterooms assuming double occupancy. If you're traveling solo, expect to pay almost the same for a stateroom as if both of you were going. He should reconsider, there are pills he can take to help him overcome motion sickness.

When being seated, you may be asked if you want a private table, or if you wish to share a table with others. If not asked, you can request to share a table. If others arriving about the same time as you wish to do so too, you will have company at your dining table. Of course, you might meet someone on board you may want to dine with, for example, another traveling solo or another couple. You could agree amongst yourselves to dine together.

NCL doesn't force anyone to dine with anyone else, or segerate solo travelers. NCL's Freestyle Cruising allows you to make decisions with whom, where and when you dine.
