do to tropical weather in the Gulf? I booked my 2nd cruise Sept. 6th and had this thought of maybe I should wait. Our first cruise was last month and it was smooth and the wife loved it and can't wait to go again. However, if we were to encounter waves to where the ship would start rocking, she would lose the cruise fever quickly.

I haven't had one cancelled yet, but I am booked on the Celebration out of Jacksonville today at 4:00. Nice weather, huh?

Hopefully, it will just be miserable today but we'll soon sail south and away through the storm. We'll be rocking and rolling tonight!!

I'll post a review when I get back.

we've never had one cancelled, but have had a 7 day turn into a 9 day because of Hurricane Frances - the port of Tampa was closed so we stayed an extra day in Cozumel and an extra day at sea. The 7 day after us was shortened to a 5 day - I felt sorry for them.
We always cruise the last week of August/first of Sept. They make all effort to stay away from rough weather.

We had a cruise booked on the Holiday that was cancelled due to Katrina
and Fema! We got a immediate refund and $200.00 shipboard credit. If the weather becomes treacherous the itenerery will change to avoid it.

We had our cruise on the Holiday cancelled due to Katrina and FEMA as well.

There were 4 of us and we also got a full refund and $100.00 each for our troubles.
