all are per person ,per day:

$3.50 waiter
$2.00 asst waiter
$3.50 cabin steward(more if it is a suite)
You'll get an envelope for the head waiter too....that amounts on you really, but they say like 50 cents a day,but we give more than that if he was worth it.......

OPTIONAL TIPPING:

You'll need some ones to tip the room service person if you get that.

Also a few bucks to tip the porter that takes your bags when you get to the port....

When you buys drinks, the bill will reflect a 15% tip already.you can add more if you want...........

Thank you, and i have 1 more question please..

What exactly do i need to wear for the formal evening?
I have to say that this cruise wasnt in my plan before i came to the USA so i didnt bring any formal cloths with me like jacket, tie etc.

But i did manage to get a jacket, a shirt and pants for a good price.. Would that be enough? (no tie or formal shoes)

Wow, thank you for sharing your pics and your review!!

The pics are great and the ship looks amazing and your review is very detaild. Just what i was looking for since this is my first cruise and i was wondring about the ship make over.

After reading your review i have more questions please..
The ship looks huge with a lot of decks and events and places.. How is it possible to discover all those places in 2-3 days? Is there a brochure that tells you where are all the dinning rooms, where to go for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Where the pool and the entertainment places etc. are located so people wont miss it?

Also,i understood there is a lot of food.. What is kind that is free and what is the one you need to pay for?

Thanks a lot

In your cabin you will find literature to help you find everything. Just get out there and explore it's so much fun!

If you stick to the main dining room and the windjammer for your food it is all free. Also lemonade, ice tea, coffee and tea in the windjammer is free.

Every day, late afternoon or evening you will get papers on your bed telling you about all the activities for the next day.

Relax, you will love it! Have fun!

Hello Maziya, What airport are you flying into. If you are flying to Miami and sailing from there also, the easiest and cheapest is to just take a taxi.

(Many people end up flying into nearby Fort Lauderdale and then sailing from Miami. In that case there are other choices: renting a car, or taking a shuttle, that may be cheaper.)

Im am flying to Fort Lauderdale and sail from miami port. I just want to know the cheapest and easiest way to get to the port. I wont be renting a car, so shuttle is the cheapest option?
Is there a shuttle that goes directly to the port?

Thanks

Hi Mazinya, Depending, if you have more people in you group, a car rental might have been cheaper, but certainly a lot more hassle, if you ask me. I agree the shuttle would be a comparable price for only two, and easier. Certainly the shuttles will take you directly to the port.

There are several companies out there to choose from. A web search will find them. Just type in "FLL to port of Miami shuttle". Several came up. Looks like prices run about $30 per person each way. The ones that have you share the ride seem cheaper.

Some companies charge per trip, anywhere from $50 to $75. for 1 to 4 people, which I think is quite similiar to what you'd have paid to rent a car.

(I can't recommend a specific company as we've not used one between Fll and Mia. Every time I've researched it, the extra cost and trouble of the transfer, seemed to more than eliminate the savings of flying to the the other aiport, and so we always end up booking the nearer airport even if costs more.)

Good luck.

Thank you.. I have 1 last question.. how is the weather usually? I mean, i wanna pack light, so is there any point to bring a large sleevs shirt?

Actually I do have one very long white blouse, with long sleeves, in the style an artist might wear. I use it as a beach cover-up and occasionally I've worn it over tees as a jacket. If you have something like that, you might want to pack it.

Oops, my mistake. I remember the "jacket" comment now. Just thought Mazinya sounded like a woman. Sorry.
