When I took my daughters and their friends several years ago on the Ecstasy the age to get into the clubs was 18 and you had to be 21 to drink. My oldest daughter was 18 and her friend wasn't going to be 18 for a couple months. They did check ID at the door all the time. It was hard because my daughter could get in but her friend couldn't and then for the teen discos the friend could get in buy my daughter couldn't because she was 18. Don't know if they still check but back then they did.
