How soon can we get on the Serenda of the Sea?

How soon can we get on the Serenade of the Sea out of San Juan?

It docks at 7am and leaves at 830 pm. They say we can't get on until after 5 pm.

We have been on the Navigator of the Seas and it docks at 7am and we were on it by noon.

Any info would be helpful.

In most cases, boarding begins around 11:00 am. If this is something new for the Serenade, or San Juan, it's just that ... News to me.

I was on the Serenade OTS in April 2008. I boarded around 11am. I was the first to board that day.

We were thinking we would have to lug our luggage around with us all day before we got on the ship.

Most ships board between 11 am and noon. Never heard of 5 pm boarding.

I agree, usually around noon, they let you on. They want your money as soon as possible.

Our docs for the April cruise show a boarding time of 2pm.
