Can someone help me with the details for what I want to do in St. Thomas/St.John.
Getting of ship want to head to St.John to visit Trunk Bay stay for a while do some swimming/snorkeling, back to St. Thomas take the tramway to Mt. Top check out sites, head back down and maybe do some shopping all within the 8-5 schedule of the cruise ship. Is this doable ?????

Barb here's a link to the Red Hook Cruz Bay Ferry schedule.

Many people on this board take this ferry trip on there own. You have to take a taxi from the havensight Pier to Red Hook, than the Ferry to Cruz Bay, than a taxi to Trunk Bay. We did it last November and it is well worth it. We also did some shopping in Crarlotte Amalie in the afternoon. However we didn't start our day off until about 10:00 am. I suppose if you start earlier you can do St. John's in the morning, and the Tram in the afternoon, and maybe the mall at the pier, (the Tram is located real close to the pier also). I would be careful about going into Crarlotte Amalie too late in the afternoon, it isn't far but the traffic can get pretty bad.
Good Luck

I was in St Thomas a week ago. We planned to go to Trunk Bay, but ended up just staying on island and visiting Saphire Beach for the day. It saved a lot of time, and it was everything I'd hoped for. We had a great time! Don't rule it out if your trying to work within a tight schedule. Other's we talked to went to Meagan's Bay and were very disappointed so I wouldn't recommend that.

If you still want to go to Trunk Bay, I think I'd cut out one of the other things you want to do. We had time to shop a little by the pier, but not a whole lot more time than that if you factor in drive time and shopping time.

Good luck!

How can you be disappointed with Magen's Bay? I thought it was gorgeous, and well worth it. I do want to check out Sapphire Beach sometime too, it sounds gorgeous as well!
