Well you must be from NJ, My wife had the panic attack also. We both had Passports issued in 1987 that expired. I had an expired "Picture License" along with a current up to date non pictured. I also had documents from the defense Dept, veterans affairs and a birth certificate.I do alot of last minute traveling, so I also decided to just get a new passport and avoid the hassle. If you have a Passport that's all you need. I would suggest you apply for one anyway as NJ is going from the worst Licence to the most hi-tech one in the next 3 years and a passport is worth 5 points. You will need 5 points to get a NJ license. A Birth Certificate is worth 2. Social security card is Zero.Save yourself future aggrevation.
