If you dont have a passport and are only cruising in the Caribbean take a bunch of things,, a voting card, a pictured drivers license and a birth certificate with a seal. Or, if you have a government workers ID take that since you cant be a US government employee without being a US Citizen.It takes 4 to 6 weeks for a US passport and cost around $55 for 10 yrs.It would make sense to get a passport if you contemplate traveling.
