If the ship has "floated out" already, will it be delivered on time?

This may be a hard question to answer, but what's your guess?
:? :? :? :? :? :? :? :? :? :?

We're booked on the 3rd sailing of the Diamond Princess and I'm wondering what our chances are of actually cruising on that date with a new ship. Since the Diamond has already been "floated out" and everything (relatively speaking) seemed to be okay, what are the chances that it will be cruising on time?

Thanks!

Well, the original Diamond Princess was also floated out on time... as was the Coral Princess...

It helps, but it is only one small piece of getting on-time delivery. There can be a whole host of other complications from now until delivery. Hopefully they'll all go smoothly for you!

Gee, thanks burbunny. Now I have a bunch of other potential problems to worry about!! :lol Seriously, thanks for hazarding a guess. I guess the worst case scenario would be that our cruise is postponed and we get some kind of percentage off another cruise.

Hi Lady Jag,

If she floated out on schedule, then yu can bet that the cruise line will try and get paying customers on her as soon as possible.
I hope yu have a great cruise!

That's kinda what I was expecting also. I've never cruised on a ship this "young" and I'm not so sure it was a wise decision to book it, but I appreciate your optimistic outlook! :)
