Well, been through 3 rounds of chemo now and haven't felt sick yet. YAHOO
Total insomnia for 3 days after treatment (from the glucocorticosteroid pre chemo stuff I take) so I'm getting lots done around here. Playing with all my Mini stuff and planning on building a small doll house for my neice. Getting ready to get the tree and decorate the house on Sat. I'm still working at my evening job all but the days I actually have chemo, which is great. love it there.
I got a copy of my bone scan faxed to me and still not sure of the interpretation. I have an appt with my doc on the 12th to go over the next step in the battleplan) Looks like I need another Xray of my shoulder and MRI of my hip to rule out metastasis there. Otherwise all my arthritis showed up loud and clear. I'm having problems with my hip, hope it's just the arthritis there or I'm in big trouble and will need to have an OT order me a walker soon. Never know when I get up from this office chair if I'll have to lean on everything for a while to stay steady.
My eyes are not any worse and the opthomaligist said he would like to give me a drug called Avistan to help shrink the growth behind my right retina, Amazingly, this wonder drug just happens to be the next biggie that will be added to my chemo regime this month and my oncologist knew nothing about the metastasis to my eye when he decided on this plan. so hoping I see some improvement there soon. I'm tired of feeling cross eyed all the time. BUT, at least my husband went out and bought me a lovely 19" monitor to help me play around on cyberspace better. my old 15" screen was just too faded to have good contrast and it was very hard to see. Love these new toys.
OK, off to figure out what sounds good for dinner. Can you say Whopper junior? LOL LOL LOL
Hugs, Mariposa, the one eyed bandit!!!
