I'm Really Getting Confused About Aft Cabins

Help! I'm getting soooo confused. In my quest for a fabulous size balcony, I have been trying to figure out which are the best cabins on the Grand class ships. Only looking at balcony and mini-suite categories....no suites, etc. I never seem to be able to find discussions I have read in the past. I've think I've heard that the farthest aft mini-suites have "wrap-around" balconies. I've also heard that the BB cabins, C752 and C753 are larger and are fantastic. Can anyone straighten me out, before I go crazy...LOL. Thanks, Pat N

On the Grand, Golden, Star Princess ships the mini suites on the Emerald deck are completely private with a roof over head. On the dolphine deck thay are completely exposed to the decks above. As for the wrap around balconies, on the emerald deck (mini-suite) rooms 728 & 729 have the bigger balconies. These are the last cabins in the aft on the port and starboard sides of the ship. I really like these cabins. In fact, I am booked for the 729 room on the Grand on my next cruise.

I forgot to mention if you go to the Photo Gallery on this sight and look up the Gallery name of Mr8 Star princess Mexican Riviera you will see two pictures of what the wrap around balcony was on the Star Princess Emerald deck room 728.

Pat, the farthest aft minis (most notably E728 and E729) have extended balconies, but they don't truly wrap. While they extend almost to the end, and you will have a bit of a wake view, didn't want you to think they were more than that. You can see both the ones on Dolphin (D732 and D733 - uncovered and no bathtub) and those on Emerald (E728 or E729 - fully covered) on this page: <http://members.aol.com/burbunny/C742.jpg>. They are the ones directly below the C742 which is highlighted.

The aft BBs are quite large. You can find a picture here: <http://members.aol.com/burbunny/AftGrand.gif> The porthole cabins at the top are on Aloha, the first balconies are suites on Baja, then Caribe is the next down. C752 is the one on the far left.

Hope that helps!

Girls....you've been a big help! Thanks for your input and pictures.
More food for thought...FYI...the newest Grand class ship, Caribbean Princess will have a whole row of aft balconies on its Baja deck.
