Can anyone tell me which ports are tender ports for the Infinity in Alaska! I am hoping to take my 83 year old Mom on an Alaska cruise next year and I know tendering might present some problems for her. Thanks.

We were in Juneau a few weeks back and the Infinity did NOT have to tender. She was right up to the dock. Assuming that the dock assignments are the same every week, you should be fine there.

If Infinity goes to Sitka you'll have to tender there. All ships tender in Sitka.

When we went on the Infinity two years ago, we did not tender in any port. Make sure you take your rain slicker! Have fun--it's a wonderful ship and a great itinerary!

Thanks so much for the info! Haven't decided for sure which ship and line to do yet but Celebrity stays in the running if the only tender port is Sitka!!

Hi Beryl,

We were on Infinity first week of August last year. We tendered in to the port at Ketchakan because there were already ships parked at all the docks by the time we arrived. When the Princess ship departed in the afternoon, Infinity cruised in and parked in its place so we were not required to tender when we got back on the ship that afternoon. So, you never know for sure about tendering but that would be the same for ANY cruise line. I highly recommend GTS Infinity to Alaska. It was GREAT!!

Happy Cruising,

Michael
