One of the ports on the Infinity Panama Canal cruise is Puntarenas, Costa Rica. The shore excursions offered in Puntarenas are identical to those we chose from when we called on Puerto Caldera, Costa Rica on a prior RCI Panama Canal cruise. The only one that interested us then was the day trip to San Jose, but we don't care to do that again. Is there anything to see/do in Puntarenas proper?
