Hey Glorya!
1. bathrooms in the FV are standard--same as all other non suite cabins on the ship. Nice size rectangular shower. You can see pictures of the bathroom in that link I sent awhile back that has all the details of the FV. Let me know if you need it again.
2. yes, you will be able to sleep when it's light outside. The curtains and drapes are lined so that it's dark inside. Your daughter shouldn't have any difficulty with sunlight keeping her awake. The bedroom is farthest away from the balcony, seperated by the frosted glass partition, so it will be plenty dark where you will be sleeping.
3. it gets to be twilight down where we will be. The "midnight sun" is actually at the more northern latitudes. Remember, we won't be that far up into Alaska. You'd need to go to Fairbanks or farther north to experience the true midnight sun.
