Informal Nights- Ladies Dress Code for Celebrity Century

Hi. I am a new cruiser in my mid-twenties. I am perplexed by "Informal" dinner dress; I have several cocktail dresses (knee-length) made out of shimmery materials; are these too dressy for informal nights? I plan on wearing long dresses for formal nights, and would love to give the short dresses a work out since they hang neglected in my closet at home. I've heard both that you can never be too dressy and that business casual is appropriate (boring!- I have to do that normally). Experienced cruisers, please help!

They sound perfect! :) I usually wear the knee length black cocktail type dresses :)
Hope you enjoy the Century as much as we did, have a lovely cruise. :)
