Input on ships

Ok, I'm not a first timer, but I have only sailed the Conquest out of Galveston here local to me. My wife and I are looking at a trip April-May of next year right now, and are looking at a few ships. I would really love people who have sailed any of the following to give input on them, and maybe rank them in order of your favorites:

Legend
Liberty
Triumph
Conquest (obviously I've been on it, but curious as to how it rates compared to the others)

Triumph vs Conquest

I really love the Conquest and have been on 2 cruises with them (2006 & 2009) however we had a great cruise on the Triumph in 2008 out of Miami to the Southern Carribean (7 ports in 7 days) It was a fantastic cruise but I didn't like the ship decor as much but it was a great ship and a wonderful but very busy cruise. If you go on it I have a really nice ladies business card in St. Kitts for a tour. I never use the ship tours.

In looking at the ships you listed, any would be great. I must say that Carnival Legend does my favorite itinerary going to Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Belize and Roatan. :spyglass:

I have sailed on both ships and both were great but I liked the legend better because it made 4 stops in the 7 days instead of 3. It is a little smaller but you really don't notice it. It is easy to get around on.

For me, I want to be out in the open waters. The ship I am on does not matter. I actually like the days at sea better than the port days.

Don't choose the Legend since it was recently in an accident with a RCCL SHIP.
It will need to be repaired and your travel agent will not know when it will be repaired and you will by stuck on not cruising.

Don't take any chances by choosing the Legend. I don't know when you are cruising either.

we aren't cruising until April, and I'm confident all will be fine by then. We actually did go ahead and book on the Legend. Thanks for everyone's input.

Hello Todd, I think you've made a good choice. We've sailed on the Legend and were very happy with her. The Legend and the Miracle (her sister ship, same deck plan) are my favorite Carnival ships. Where as the Triumph was my least favorite Carnival ship, (and over all least favorite out of all our 18 cruises.)

Yes, snorkeling in water would be the preferred method.

When Susan went on her girls only cruise last year they went to the butterfly farm in Key West and horseback riding in Cozumel because she knows that when she goes with me we're going to be in the water or under it.
