Hello I have down graded to a inside cabin on the carnival destiny since the windows didn't open I figured I should save the money. So what should I expect! or what things can I do to make it a little more comfortable?

Bring a little night lite with you. Other than that, if you want to see water, go to the Lido Deck!! Enjoy the extra $$$$s for tours, gambling, bingo and drinks!!!

Make sure you set an alarm clock too, one day you might wake up to find yourself leaving a port without actually stepping foot on it! It almost happened to us, got to shore late. If you are into taking naps set an alarm clock, we have missed dinner after a long excursion filled trip to Cozumel

I was on the inside and bottom of the ship in order to save money. Not much room to move around. I agree though, save your money for excursions and other things!! It wasnt that bad! When you want sunlight you walk up to the deck!

We always book inside cabins because all we do is sleep there and we'd rather spend the money on fun activities. On our first few cruises we were way down at the bottom. Now we prefer to be on Verandah deck.

I agree about bringing an alarm clock.

Great thing about the inside cabin is that you can take a nap during the daytime without the Light leaking inside. But make sure you take a travel clock with an alarm because you won't know what time of the day it is with no daylight showing.

I agree with the other posts...we have done the inside cabin each time we sailed... I can not complain..bathrooms were nice size, witch I seem to think is more important.

Definately bring that clock...I requested a wake call through the pursers desk and they never called!

Enjoy :)

Someone on another thread suggested leaving the tv on at night, tuned to the view from the deck via the web cam. It will be basically dark but will become light as day breaks. Sounds like it's worth a try.
