Book what you can afford. There are plenty of places on the ship to go and enjoy the scenery of Alaska. An outside room would be nice if you plan on spending a lot of time in your room but why waste your time sitting in the room?I would not wait if I had the chance to cruise Alaska and all I could afford was an inside room. In fact I have sailed with an inside room in Alaska several times.
