Hi Tom,We have made the Alaskan cruise in both an inside and outside cabins, and can't say that we enjoyed one trip more than the other. On this cruise you spend a goodly portion of your cruise on port calls and cruising Glacier Bay, and while you are under way there are some great vantage points to view the passing scenery. You will really not miss a great deal by taking an inside cabin. If you do decide to go I am sure you will enjoy the experiences.Peter
