I STRONGLY recommend it and on any cruise or package trip have always taken itnot only does it cover if you cant go , consider the other things it covers such as lost luggage ( can speak from personal experience on that one...lost luggage we never got EVER when we were on vacation and even when we got home ), medical issues in another country etcdont get it if you can afford to self insure for any of the unforseen events covered ...fortunately most people dont need to use it but have heard stories of people not taking it and losing a LOT of money
