Irons in room

I was reading through my docs and it said irons were not to be used in cabins because of fire hazard.....does anyone bring them??

What part of this did you not understand? It says don't bring them...period.

We always bring a travel iron..On our last cruise, our steward said it was fine. I just unplug it and set it in the sink. ))
