Our cruiseship will be in Ocho Rio, in June, and we want to go to the Dunn River Falls with our four sons (17,16,11, &7). I thought I read somewhere there is a minimum age requirement to climb the falls, does anyone know if this is true?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Seven is not too young to climb the falls and I don't believe there is an age limit. When we were there there was a dad carrying his toddler on his shoulders. Thought that was a little risky since it's not a piece of cake to climb the falls. We were in a group of seven with ages from 56 - 62 and we all had some trouble doing it but did make it. Wouldn't do it again though !!! If you have bad knees, don't do it. It was a real struggle for me but my knees are shot. Would guess your 7 yr. old will think it easy and fun !!!

Thanks so much for answering my question Gramshup. My 7 year old will probably be up the fall's before me; boy's have so much energy.

I am glad to hear there are no restrictions and we cannot wait until our cruise.

Thanks again!
