We have a cat. 11 suite reserved on the Pride and were wondering if the room is worth the extra money, or would a cat. 8I suffice. We will have three people in the cabin. Also, any information on the size of the balconies would be appreciated. Thanks.

The cat.11 is well worth the money. You have more room and the balconey is bigger.
This cat. will spoil you.

Personally, as long as I can have a balcony, I am okay. I have had minisuites before thought they were not worth the extra money. We took an 8C aft cabin on the Pride.

There are great differencing in the layout on the Cat 11s.....some are one large room, other's have seperate living room, dressing room and bedroom. We had that latter in room 4228 and loved it. You can see some pics of it at:

And the balcony is to die for! Have a great time.

I agree with Denise, there are different layouts of the Cat 11's. We had the aft cabin 6260 which has the wrap around balcony that is just amazing!! Also we really enjoyed the separate sitting area, dressing area, and large two-sink bathroom. My son brought some pals (8 of them!) back to the cabin and I was able to close the doors to the bedroom and watch TV while they hung out on the huge balcony. Now the only thing with those aft cabins is that I believe that the max is 2 people. Another thing about a Cat.11 compared to a lower cat. is you get the "Skipper's Club" for check-in....which IMO is great. No long lines for checking in.

I was told by my TA that you can book 3 in the aft cabins....the sitting room sofa makes up into a single. Or, you if you take room 4228 or 4237 you can book the Cat 8C next door which has a connecting door to make a two bedroom/ 2 bathroom suite! Oh, and all aft wrap arounds cabins are not laid out the same....I understand the ones on deck 5 are smaller and only one room.

IF you wish to have a bigger space to move and a bigger outside area than it is worth it. I cruise Cat 11 or 12. I need space to move around.Being 6-4 225 makes me need room.
