After cruising from Vancouver to Whittier, we plan to drive to Denali for a few days and then to Seward for 2 days. I have to book my return flight and have to figure how many extra days I want to stay in Alaska. I wondered whether driving the western part of the Kenai Penisula as far as Homer was worth the extra time and driving. We would have already seen two weeks of great scenery. If we do not plan to do fishing, are there any special things to see in that part of the penisular that we have not seen before?
