Just heard from a friend that Carnival has initiated a new
policy (or perhaps just enacting an old) where they are prohibiting
alcohol or even water bottles being brought on ship.
Can anyone who has recently sailed confirm or deny this?
Are they scrutinizing luggage and personals more than ever?!
It's interesting, as Princess and Royal Caribbean are perhaps
the only two lines that look the other way as far as bringing
alcohol on board.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion on this matter, but I
am booked for a future Carnival cruise and will certainly
cancel it if I know that alcohol is being confiscated.
