Is Lic. instead of SS# O.K. on Bd. Pass?

I'm a bit paranoid about using Social Security numbers on anything, and when it calls for using the SS# I usually use my Driver's License. Can I do that on my boarding pass or do I have to put down my social. Also what about children under 10 do they definitely want their socials too? (I don't know if this matters , but we plan to put down cash on our sail and sign card)

Thanks in advance.

I just got back from the Holiday and we never had to use our SS#. We had to have our Driver's license and a certified copy of birth certificate and if you are married they asked for my marriage license for proof of my name changed. Or a passport works.
Enjoy your cruise

I have never been asked for my S.S. # by any cruiseline. I cannot imagine a legitimate reason for asking.

We received our cruise documents a few days ago and on the boarding pass it asks for your s.s.#

I've NEVER been asked for my SS#...it doesn't have a picture of you on it...and the whole idea of ID is to make sure the ID matches the face of the passenger.

A drivers license and certified copy of your birth certificate will do on most cruise destinations.
