I'm sorry if I'm repeating a subject already on here but do the UK travellers know that from January12th 2009 a form has to be completed for immigration purposes. It is a new form for 'Visa Waiver' countries and the UK is one.

juggles...I haven't seen it anywhere. You might want to post in on the Q&A section of this board too.

I received two e-mails regarding documentation. I booked directly with Princess. I'm sure they can help you.

If you're UK, these forms definitely need to be completed if a passport can be electronically read....there are loads of numbers at the bottom of the passport details page to indicate it's electronic. Mine was issued in 2001 and it is electronic.
If you don't complete them you can be refused boarding the outward flight. It is an immigration form in addition to all the other documentation asked for. It's for entry into the USA whereas before UK citizens didn't need a visa. They still don't but need this form which is called an ESTA
It comes into play on the 12th Jan 2009 so one is ok to travel without it before then. The form once completed lasts two years.

Try this site it the visa wizard they recommend you do this first to make sure your passports qualify under the program, if they do click on the ESTA application and do that. My sister did this back in September had no problems got her authorzation numbers for her and her husband and they are good for 2 years. There are joining us on our cruise in March.

We will be mid-way thru our Ruby cruise when this comes into force. Princess sent us a reminder to go to the ESTA site. It was an easy procedure and as stated the ESTA last for two years or until passport expires.
