We did an crossing on the Infinity last November 2002 and it was flat calm, it was really wonderful. Once you are sailing round the Islands you do all your sailing at night while you are asleep, so you really do not feel any motion when you are around the Islands. We have been on the Island Princess in October 2003 though the Panama and we had some rough seas 1 day but it was not that bad ( I believe the seas were 12'), I used the patch and sailed right though it.
We are now signed up for the Island again for November Hawaii Round Trip and really looking forward to it. I just make sure I am have plenty of patches for the trip just in case.
